- SEO Guide
Every website is made up of a range of information. Including text, images, and video. Yet unless it’s presented properly, users and search engines alike won’t be able to interpret this information properly. Severely impacting your visibility within search results.
This where the art of SEO comes in.
Though SEO itself may sound like a simple concept, it involves a number of technical elements, but more importantly persistent methods that combine to help increase your website’s visibility. Ensuring search engines like Google, Yahoo! and Bing are aware of what you, and your website, are offering and selling. As well as ensuring this ties in with the online experience visitors receive when they use your website.
These methods aren’t always visible to your customers, but Google will use this information to determine both the relevancy and authority of your website. And, ultimately, your website’s position within its search engine.
How does Google do this? By using spiders.
No.. not the real ones!
These Google spiders trawl the internet, following links and visiting as many websites as they can. Once they’ve visited your website, they run what they’ve found through an algorithm which gives your site a score. You’re then placed into Google’s search engine in a position according to your score.
